Professional Dancer & Choreographer

Madeleine Salhany is a professional dancer and choreographer currently based in Germany and one of our own GLS ALUMNI! After graduating from the BFA program at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase New York, she went on to work with companies such as Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, Tanzcompagnie Gießen/Stadttheater Gießen and Ballett Theater Trier. Throughout these years she’s had the pleasure of working with several choreographers including Sidra Bell, Bobbi Jene, Ana Maria Lucaciu, Marne van Opstal, Mauro Astolfi and Itzik Galili. She has also attended NDT Summer Intensive, Arts Umbrella’s International Summer Dance Intensive and has performed at several dance festivals/galas across Europe. When Madeleine isn’t dancing, she is choreographing and teaching at various studios across Canada. She is excited to come back home this summer and share her knowledge and passion with you all!
