Our history is the history of SUCCESS!

From a small dancing school the Greta Leeming Studio of Dance has grown into a leading educational institution.

Greta Leeming Robinson established the Studio of Dance in 1962 and since then the Studio has always been at the forefront of the the Canadian Capital's cultural life. Started as a small ballet school, the Greta Leeming Studio of Dance today is a leading educational institution with an extensive syllabus covering several dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop. The school has grown to be the largest in the Ottawa area.

Many things have changed since the time the Studio opened its doors, but two things remains unchanged year after year - the highest standards of education and continued success of the school's graduates in their professional career. Although the school has always had a strong focus on training of professional dancers, we have not abandoned the interests of thousands of children who wanted to learn dance just as a recreational activity. We are proud of the fact that we have had so many excellent students, in both professional and recreational dance.

In 2002 the Studio celebrated its 40th anniversary. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our students, teachers and everyone who helped us make these years an absolute success.
