Jazz and Tap
Our jazz and tap classes are based on the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers or ADAPT (www.adaptsyllabus.com) system. This certified syllabus is designed to provide an excellent foundation for both the competitive and recreational dancer. ADAPT certified professionals are leaders in quality dance training.
The ADAPT dance syllabus offers yearly examinations for those who meet the required standard.
Students are accepted from the age of 4.
Ballet
All our ballet classes are based on the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus RAD (www.radcanada.org). The RAD is the world’s largest examining and teacher education organization of classical ballet. The carefully designed syllabus benefits the recreational as well as the professionally oriented student. There are opportunities for yearly examinations at the grade and vocational levels.
Almost all of our ballet classes are taught to the accompaniment of qualified pianists.
Students are accepted from the age of two (Kinderdance).
Lyrical/Contemporary
A compilation of different styles of dance, including jazz, lyrical, classical ballet and modern dance with more emphasis on expressive movement, emotion and storytelling.
Hip Hop
Hip hop dancing is an urban ethnic dance form that has gained popularity in recent days.
Hip hop dancing is an ideal way to express one's creativeness. The dancing represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of hip hop music. There is breaking, popping, locking, and free styling in hip hop dances. In such a way that the dance style becomes informal and explosive!
SoFIT Health & Wellness Strength & Conditioning Classes
These Strength & Conditioning classes are a great way to have fun, stay healthy and become "SoFIT"! These classes target the strengthening and conditioning of muscles by doing basic circuits, intervals, boot camps and weight training, as well as focusing on increasing heart health by improving cardiovascular ability.
